🐾 Jack’s Notes

He combined a few days into one post entry, didn’t he? Yep, lazy – 90% of the time I’m just left to laze around the house; sometimes he naps, sometimes he goes places without me and other times he just sits at his computer looking at pictures of dumb birds for hours. Oh, and get this… he found out how to use the television remotes. Here’s an example; he leaves me yesterday and was gone… forever…,

…but before he goes he tosses a handfull of peanuts out of the second story sliding glass door to “entertain” me with the birds, chipmunks, and squirrels that are going to come by but he didn’t realize that I was going to sit downstairs and stare out the window until he decides to come home. They call it anxiety but it’s not; it’s loneliness. If I miss him while he is taking a shower then imagine how much I miss him when he is gone forever then comes back smelling like seafood, ribeye, burger…? I try to tell him how much he is missed when he comes through the door but he doesn’t listen; just covers his ears and says, “too much barking.”

I must say though, our trip to Ona Beach was pretty stimulating. Even when he was taking pictures he let me sniff around but… then he got upset when my lead got tangled in his tripod and almost knocked his camera over. Not my fault a chipmunk came by and I was compelled to run toward him as fast as possible. Ok… napping on the beach was pretty cool, and he actually did take me to Zurita with Scott & Amy so there’s that. And, yes, he did bring some burger home for me – fine; maybe it ain’t so bad.

Great place for lunch. Jack and I were sitting outside on their wonderful patio and the neighbors, Scott & Amy came through the gate. We hadn’t discussed being there so I was very surprised we chose the same place at the same time but, not surprised, because Zurita is a first-class restaurant.
